The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm. Ryan Hayward of the Historical Commission was also present.
- Previous Minutes: The Minutes from the June 18 meeting were reviewed. CB noted that the minutes needed to be amended to insert “deed” into the motion for 21 Touro Ave, instead of “purchase and sale agreement”, CS seconded. The vote was 3 in favor, 0 opposed. Motion passed. FS to revise the minutes.
- 21 Touro Avenue. The property is owned by Tufts University, which plans to put the property up for sale. CB noted that he was authorizing $500 for John Clemson to prepare a “Form B” for the property and write a draft of an historic property report.
- Outreach for new HDC members: CB noted that the commission should be making efforts to add new members to the commission. Ryan suggested that an advertisement be put on the Medford yahoo group asking interested persons to contact the commission.
